Animal Progress heads to Sydney
Sally will be away for some time in July and September while she fills in at Sydney Animal Behaviour Service for Dr Kersti Seksel, who will be travelling to the United Kingdom to lecture in Behaviour Medicine. Kersti is a registered veterinary specialist in Animal Behaviour, a Fellow of the Australian College of Veterinary scientists in Animal Behaviour, a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviourists and a Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Behavioural Medicine- Companion Animals. She is an adjunct senior lecturer at Charles Sturt University and honorary associate at University of Sydney and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Kersti’s name is well known nationally and internationally among veterinarians and animal behaviourists as a leader in the field of behaviour medicine and her work is known to many pet owners due to her development of the Puppy Preschool® programme. she has helped the world recognise the importance of correct stimulation levels in early animal development. It is a marvellous opportunity for Kersti to ask Sally to work in Sydney for this short period. Sally will be back to provide service to the northeast before the end of July.
