Animal Progress
Animal Progress aims to help people understand animal behaviour, so that they can respond to animals in a way that improves animal welfare.
Understanding normal animal communication and behaviour as well as what behaviour looks like when it is not normal is important for people working with animals.
Strategies to manage specific behaviour problems are provided during veterinary behaviour consultations.
Having an appropriate long-term management plan for an animal whose behaviour is problematic or abnormal can lead to reduced anxiety and frustration in the animal’s owner. The owner’s bond with their animal may then improve.
The techniques recommended are simple so that you do not feel overwhelmed. If you would like a more complex behaviour modification plan, we will first discuss whether your animal is ready for such challenges, before discussing options.
